I am sad to report the death of one of our most long-standing members. Many will remember him organising a wonderful meeting in 1999 in the hotel in Leogang where he and his family had been skiing for many years before. He was President of the Association for the meeting in Snowmass in 2004. he was a general and vascualr surgeon at the West Middlesex Hospital quite near to Twickenham where he served as honorary surgeon to the England rugby team.
